Kristi Hamrick
Kristi Hamrick grew up in towns across Pennsylvania and Iowa before graduating cum laude from Anderson University with departmental honors in Communications. She paid her way through school by working as editor of her college newspaper and part-time as a journalist, and she won a prestigious Pulliam Fellowship after graduation. She has a degree in Mass Communications & Journalism with a Cognate in Political Science.
During college, she interned and worked in the Pennsylvania State House as well as in the offices of the late Sen. John Heinz of Pennsylvania and the late Sen. Arlen Specter. She also was part of an award-winning PBS production featuring a Holocaust survivor. Her career as a journalist began in Indiana at news outlets including the Indianapolis Star and Muncie Star. This eventually led her to Washington D.C., where she was a correspondent for CBN News, and then to Kentucky, where she worked as press secretary for the Hopkins for Governor campaign. From there, she became press secretary for Family Research Council, heading FRC’s communication shop and hosting FRC’s television show “Straight Talk with FRC.”
As an entrepreneur, Hamrick then established KSH media, from which she worked with a Who’s Who of conservative and pro-family organizations. She strategized to create and advance a policy agenda through paid and earned media with an emphasis on marketing an effective story to news organizations. In 2017, Hamrick joined Students for Life of America and Students for Life Action, now taking the role of Vice President of Media & Policy.
As the daughter and granddaughter of ministers from an extended family committed to community service, Hamrick developed life-long pro-life convictions. But as a reporter in secular settings, her conversations with women about their abortion experience convinced her that not only was abortion the unjust ending of a preborn child’s life, but it also brought life-long devastation to women as well. Abortion harms women and is sold by a profitable industry that fails to deliver the one thing it promises – a problem-free ending of young life.
Hamrick has been featured on major media broadcasts, print, and radio nationwide, including on FOX, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, et al, with quotes and op-eds in the New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, Washington Times, Breitbart, Rolling Stone, Associated Press, and beyond. Her decades of media experience have resulted in thousands of conversations with reporters considering the most crucial issues of the day.
Hamrick resides near Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband, and she is a mother of four.
As SFLA/SFLAction Vice President of Media & Policy, Hamrick manages paid and earned media campaigns, devises strategy for coverage and messaging, and creates content from op-eds, speeches, news releases, talking points, and any other products needed to advance an effective policy agenda.

Stephanie Stone
Stephanie Stone grew up in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, and graduated from the Catholic University of America after studying Politics and English.
Stephanie has known she was called to the pro-life movement since she was 12, having attended the March for Life every year with her church, started her own pro-life newsletter there, and volunteered regularly. However, the pro-life mission became more real for her during her first year at CUA, where she got more involved with the pro-life club on campus (eventually becoming president), interned with Live Action, and began to hear the stories of women who had been betrayed by the abortion industry. Hearing about the pain and loneliness that many women had gone through, along with learning about the incredibly loving work of so many pro-life organizations in DC, helped Stephanie realize she was called to join in supporting women and saving lives.
During her time at CUA with Cardinals for Life, Stephanie worked with her Regional Coordinator, Michele Hendrickson (who is now her boss!), to bring a display to campus, go to the March for Life, and host CUA’s first Pep Rally for Life. A year after graduation, she joined SFLA as the Capital Area Regional Coordinator, assisting groups in Maryland, D.C., and Virginia.
Stephanie and her work have been featured on multiple news outlets such as Breitbart and Fox News, and her writing has been featured on Media Research Center’s NewsBusters, Maryland March for Life’s blog, and Students for Life of America’s blog. She has spoken on campuses across Maryland, D.C., and Virginia, at press conferences, and regularly at churches in the Capital Area.
Stephanie currently resides in Fairfax, Virginia, and serves the Pro-Life Generation as Students for Life’s Standing With You Coordinator. This work includes the management of Standing With You, Students for Life’s pregnancy support program.

Gillian Evans
As Social Media & Events Coordinator, Gillian shares Sidewalk Advocates for Life’s mission across multiple digital platforms and coordinates our teams at in-person conferences and events.
Gillian grew up pro-life, but it wasn’t until she was faced with an unexpected pregnancy at the age of 20 that she experienced the true beauty and breadth of the pro-life movement — how the offer of free resources, guidance, and mentorship can be truly life-changing. After she and her husband were served by the local pregnancy resource center, she continued to volunteer and advocate for the pro-life movement in her community.
Gillian graduated summa cum laude and with honors in 2017 from Missouri Western State University with her degree in Communications. After school, she advanced Christian, pro-life efforts and organizations through teaching, social media marketing, and online advertising. In 2023, she professionally joined the pro-life movement as the Missouri Her PLAN Coordinator, a project of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, working to fill the gaps of care for women and their families across the state. After relocating to Florida with an open heart for her next pro-life opportunity, Gillian joined the SAFL National Team. She has been on staff with SAFL for 2 years now!
Gillian and her husband, Zach, have been married for 11 years, and they have three children. She loves reading, thrifting, and antiquing. When she’s not volunteering at the pregnancy center, her Embrace Grace group, or at church, you’ll catch her bumming it at the beach with the family! Gillian and Zach have started the process to become foster parents as well, but a recent move to Tennessee has postponed this a bit!
