Michigan Regional Coordinator

Joshua Janda grew up in La Grange, TX and graduated from the Franciscan University of Steubenville with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology and a Master’s degree in Catholic Studies.

Joshua grew up pro-life having discussions with his family members and friends all throughout high school about the importance of protecting human life and building a culture of life.

While in college, Joshua did not get involved with the pro-life movement, however his time as a youth minister and high school theology teacher showed him how much the culture of death has infiltrated into the lives of his students and even his peers, as many of his friends had become increasingly in favor of abortion. During this time Joshua became more vocal openly pressing students on their thoughts and challenging their beliefs.

In the last two years, Joshua has served at St. John Church and Student Center in East Lansing, Michigan, serving the Catholic population of Michigan State University as the Associate Campus Minister. It was during this time that Joshua felt moved to invest more time in the pro-life movement and to support the students he was already mentoring to engage their peers in the fight for life.

Joshua currently resides in Portland, Michigan and serves the Pro-Life Generation as Students for Life’s Michigan Regional Coordinator. This work includes traveling to middle schools, high schools, and colleges across Michigan to assist Students for Life groups in hosting events such as tabletops, tour stops, apologetics trainings, prayer vigils, chalk days, and more.
