Unfortunately, the U.S. has been actively battling abortion for almost 40 years. As a result, U.S. pro-life organizations have tried countless different tactics throughout the years – some that were failures and others more successful.

Many international pro-lifers are in the process of figuring out what works in their own countries. This coalition of organizations would like to make our ideas, insights, and resources available to you. Although some ideas are vary based on the country or culture, many can be used by anyone regardless of one’s geographic location. Each organization taking part in this Webcast explains how they can contribute to your country’s pro-life movement.

Students for Life of America (SFLA)

Mission: The mission of SFLA is to end abortion by educating students about the issues of abortion, euthanasia, and infanticide; identifying pro-life student leaders; equipping student pro-lifers with the training, skills and resources to be effective and successful; promoting student activity to other local, college and national organizations.

What we can offer you: Students for Life of America is the “one-stop shop” for any student pro-lifer. SFLA provides students, no matter what age, with the training and resources they need to be successful. SFLA provides the following to pro-life students free of charge:
•    One-on-One assistance (phone, e-mail, Skype and webcast) in starting and sustaining a pro-life student group on your campus or in your country
•    A SFLA Activism Workbook and Advanced Strategy Handbook, which teaches a student pro-lifer everything he or she needs to know about pro-life activism
•    “Are the Unborn Persons?”, Rape and Abortion, Health & Life of the Mother, Social Justice postcards to distribute

Human Life Alliance (HLA)
Mission: HLA is a non-profit, non-denominational, pro-life organization dedicated to protecting human life from the moment of conception until natural death. HLA seeks to educate all people on life issues including the humanity of the unborn child and exposing the gruesome realities of abortion, euthanasia in all its forms, both active and passive, and promoting chastity.

What they can offer you: HLA’s priority project is to publish and distribute advertising supplements, focusing on life issues. Reaching a combined circulation of nearly 30 million copies over the past 14 years, these extremely powerful and creative supplements cause vigorous debate on campuses. Testimonies prove that these supplements have been instrumental in changing the hearts and minds of young people. HLA can send you English versions or work with your group to translate any of the publications to your country’s language.

Human Life International (HLI)
Mission: The mission of HLI is to create effective opposition to the culture of death around the world. With affiliates and associates in over 100 countries, Human Life International is the largest international pro-life organization in the world.

What they can offer you: HLI trains, organizes and equips pro-life leaders around the world. HLI has sponsored more than 70 international conferences and over 50 conferences in the United States. They cater methods to each country’s needs. They help with law and policy and have founded crisis pregnancy centers. They deal with topics such as Natural Family Planning, the dangers of secular sex education, pro-life priests, advising families in crisis, educating civic leaders on pro-life issues, hosting pro-life radio and television programs and much more!

Stand True
Mission:  Stand True is committed to establishing a culture for life and bringing light to a generation covered by darkness. Stand True is committed to educating, equipping, and activating young people to stand up and be a voice for their generation.

What they can offer you: Every October, Stand True hosts the Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity, when people from all over the world give up their voices for a day in solidarity for aborted children. Red arm bands and duct tape identify them as taking part and they carry fliers explaining why they are silent to educate others about the plight of the innocent children we are losing every day. Founder and director, Bryan Kemper is also available to speak to your group or help with design projects.

Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust
Mission: Survivors is a Christian, pro-life activism organization dedicated to educating and activating high school and college age individuals. If you live in a country with legalized abortion, Survivors challenges you to consider yourself a Survivor of the Abortion Holocaust. The Survivors are taking an active stand on behalf of those who have already been lost, and for those who are scheduled to die through abortion.

What they can offer you: Since 1998, the Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust have conducted an annual Pro-Life Training Camps for high school and college students. The summer conferences equip youth to effectively fight against abortion in their churches, schools, towns, and across the world. Conference attendees are trained in pro-life apologetics and debate skills, fetal development, sidewalk counseling, media relations, event planning and leadership, law enforcement and legal issues, evangelism, and other extensive topics. 40 Days for Life
Mission: 40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life campaign with a vision to access God’s power through prayer, fasting, and peaceful vigil to end abortion in America. The mission of the campaign is to bring together the body of Christ in a spirit of unity during a focused 40 day campaign of prayer, fasting, and peaceful activism, with the purpose of repentance, to seek God’s favor to turn hearts and minds from a culture of death to a culture of life, thus bringing an end to abortion in America.

What they can offer you: You can start a 40 Days campaign in your city, country, or region. It changes communities, protects women and saves lives.
