Giovana Throckmorton grew up in South Carolina, graduated from Greenville Technical College with a general associate’s degree in arts, and from Anderson University with a bachelor’s in public relations communications. She received academic honors for both her degrees and was awarded with Magna Cum Laude for her Bachelor’s.
Giovana’s passion for the pro-life movement started in her middle school years. She was actively involved in a Co-op that trained her in speech and debate. She was later exposed to the movie Unplanned, which aided in her realization of what abortion truly was, which caused her to further research abortion and the effects it had on women.
While Giovana was not introduced to Students for Life of America until her later college years, she was actively serving at a Pregnancy center, and previously served as the Public Relations officer at her college’s pro-life club.
Giovana currently resides in Georgia, acting as a Southern Campus Formation Coordinator, where she serves Students for Life of America by growing the Pro-Life Generation. She deeply enjoys life and has the goal of inspiring students to see the value in every part of life.
