Sam Matthews grew up in Huntingtown, Maryland and graduated from the Catholic University of America after studying International Economics and Finance.
Sam grew up in a family that recognizes the sanctity of life. After hearing a talk by Michele Hendrickson at the Maryland March for Life, he became even more passionate about the issue of abortion. He worked with Students for Life to become an advocate for the preborn.
Sam founded a Students for Life group during his junior year of high school. After graduating, he began working with Students for Life as the Capital Area Intern. He was also a member of Cardinals for Life at the Catholic University of America.
Sam currently resides in Brambleton, Virginia and serves the Pro-Life Generation as Students for Life’s Licensing Agreements Coordinator. This work includes managing our licensing agreement process and sending out the custom logos and banners that Students for Life groups receive for signing.
