Sarah Zarr grew up in Pueblo, Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo after studying Mass Communications with an emphasis in Integrated Communication and minors in Leadership Studies and Nonprofit Administration.
Sarah’s calling began in the womb when doctors pressured her mother to abort her due to maternal health risks. Her mother refused. This made Sarah want to come alongside women who are pressured into abortion and let them know there’s support, resources, and solutions out there even in hard circumstances.
After Sarah learned the heartbreaking reality of abortion, Sarah started to use her influence and platforms of leadership in college. It was then she realized she needed to go from silence about abortion to speaking up courageously and compassionately.
Sarah founded CSU-Pueblo Students for Life and served as the President for two years, bringing a pro-life voice to the school. After leading the pro-life group on her campus, Sarah was elected Student Body President at CSU-Pueblo. She worked to make sure the university complied with Title IX regarding pregnant and parenting students and worked to make campus friendlier for parenting students by setting up a lactation room. In college, she was also involved in over 6 different clubs and organizations, worked in Students Activities, was a part of a prestigious leadership program, was in the Color Guard in the marching band, and sat on 12 different university committees and boards while serving in Student Government as first a Senator and then President.
Sarah learned patient advocacy at Pueblo’s Caring Pregnancy Center and supported the Center’s process of getting a mobile ultrasound from Save the Storks. Sarah studied pro-life apologetics at Summit Ministries, through the Equal Rights Institute Course, Justice for All Training Seminar, and at Students for Life of America’s trainings. Sarah furthered her pro-life education at the prestigious University of Notre Dame’s Center for Ethics and Culture Vita Institute in 2018 and took a Masters class on the Ethics of Abortion and on Communication through Summit Ministries and the Life Training Institute in 2020.
Sarah has lead rallies and protests, organized region wide conferences to unite the pro-life movement, trained thousands of students, has had over 1,500 conversations about abortion to change hearts and minds, has successfully combated Planned Parenthood through even delaying them from opening a mega clinic in Birmingham, has empowered and equipped new pro-life leaders, strengthened pro-life groups, successfully helped pass pro-life legislation in TX, helped consult students and organizations in Australia to learn to do pro-life activism, and has helped save at least two babies and helped two moms get their college education! Sarah was formerly Miss Pueblo and a competitor in Miss Colorado and used her platform to represent at events like the annual Walk for Life in Pueblo. She is currently competing in pageants in Texas with Students for Life’s Standing With You Initiative as her platform.
Sarah has been featured in in Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire, The Daily Caller, and Breitbart. Sarah was also in the cast of a TV show on GODTV called Life Matters. Sarah has spoken at the Texas Rally for Life, The National Pro-Life Summit, and several pro-life Pregnant Resource Center Banquets and pro-life conferences. She has spoken to over 20,000 people at events and schools all over the United States and even internationally in Australia.
Sarah currently resides in Austin, Texas and serves the Pro-Life Generation as Students for Life’s Midwest Regional Manager. This work includes managing Regional Coordinators in the Midwest Region who are empowering student leaders to run their student organizations and to make abortion unthinkable and obsolete on their campus, in their community, and in our nation.
