The Pro-Life Generation knows how monumental the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health case is in taking a legal swing at Roe v. Wade. That’s why students and team members literally camped out in front of the Supreme Court overnight on November 30th in preparation for the December 1st hearing day for Dobbs. The following is SFLA President Kristan Hawkins’s address on hearing day… Good Morning Everyone, My name is Kristan Hawkins, and I am president of Students for Life Action, Students for Life of America with more than 1,250 groups in all 50 states and more than 130,000 trained activists. The Road to Reversing Roe: Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health
On Wednesday, December 1st, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments for Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health, a case stemming from Mississippi passing a law to ban abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy.
Legal experts believe how the Supreme Court rules on this case will very likely determine if states will be allowed to enforce abortion restrictions before viability for the first time since the Roe v. Wade decision & finally confront its bad legal framework.
In short, the era of Roe v. Wade’s “abortion whenever and for whatever reason” may soon be over.
But… it may only happen if the Supreme Court sees the ground swell the pro-life majority has.
