At first when I heard that Elizabeth Banks was working with the Center For Reproductive Rights To organize a “Creative Council” to push for abortion around the world, I got a little worried. After all, a Hollywood star like her would probably be able to create some really great, deceptive messaging to trick people into thinking they need abortions. After all, most of what Hollywood does is try to create a separate universe where their “reality” is actually, real.
Then I saw that her recent film, a remake of Charlie’s Angels bombed, and I stopped worrying.
According to the Center for Reproductive Rights, a group that supports unlimited abortion and at taxpayer-expense, the group is working to ensure that every woman can have an abortion, Specifically, “Over the next several months, they will be focused on the Center’s U.S. Supreme Court case, June Medical Services v. Gee, which challenges a Louisiana law designed to shut down clinics and undermine our guaranteed right to access abortion care.”
How successful that will be seems up in the air, considering that Charlie’s Angels is being universally seen as a complete flop. Even Elizabeth Banks herself acknowledged it, although she blamed it on…men. Oh. Okay.
Well, if you’re going to have a flop, make sure your name is on it at least 4x. I’m proud of #CharliesAngels and happy it’s in the world.

Banks claimed that men, “don’t go see women do action movies.” We will set aside the irony in a pro-abortion feminist basing her success, implicitly, on men going to see her movie, and then blaming those same men when she failed and let her comments speak for themselves.
If you're against abortion, don't have one. Women and their doctors are the most suited to make choices about a woman's…

Okay back to her weird comment about men not going to see women in action movies. Has she heard of Hunger Games? I know she has, because she starred in the Hunger Games movies. You want to know another female-led action movie that succeeded? Charlie’s Angels in 2000, grossing $125 million in the United States. Maybe, and I know this is wild speculation, Elizabeth Banks just didn’t create a good movie?
