When President Trump ran for president, he faced skepticism from many grassroots conservatives who were not sure where he stood on important issues like life and the Supreme Court. But he was able to win over many skeptical voters by boldly releasing a list of potential Supreme Court nominees. In fact, President Trump won 56% of voters who said the Supreme Court was the most important factor in their decision to vote, voting for Trump based off of his promises to appoint originalist judges, who interpret the law as written, not based on what is necessarily politically popular.

Now, he is celebrating a major milestone, as over 150 federal judges appointed by Trump have now been confirmed. Included in this is the fact that about 1 in 4 of Court of Appeals judges have been appointed by President Trump.
According to the White House, “President Trump’s historic appointments have already tipped the balance of numerous Federal courts to a Republican appointed majority.
- This includes flipping the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit from a Democrat-appointed majority to a Republican-appointed majority.
- Numerous other Federal courts have been tilted from an even split to a Republican-appointed majority.
- The Second and Eleventh Circuits are likely to flip by the end of this year.”
The importance of the courts to pro-life voters cannot be understated. Consider that one federal judge in Arkansas, Kristine Baker (appointed by President Obama) routinely overturns every pro-life law passed democratically by the state legislature.
