Missouri residents: see the bottom for instructions about how to send your own letter!
Starting October 28th, the Missouri Administrative Hearing Commission will hear arguments over whether or not the last remaining Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Missouri should be allowed to stay open, despite repeatedly flouting state law.
Pro-life Missouri students are ensuring that the commission hears from them and reminding the commission of Planned Parenthood’s long record of having substandard facilities. So far, nearly 25 students from Missouri universities, including Truman State, Mizzou, Fontbonne, and St. Louis University medical school, have sent letters to the commission, expressing their opposition to the abortion facility. The goal is to reach at least 50 letters before the hearing starts.
Jacinta Florence, the Missouri Regional Coordinator for Students for Life of America noted, “While Planned Parenthood continues to operate without a valid license, pro-life students in Missouri are making sure to remind the commission that we do not need Planned Parenthood; there are numerous free and low-cost healthcare resources and pregnancy resources throughout the state of Missouri. The pro-life generation does not want Planned Parenthood, and by a 3 to 1 margin, Millennials wants their money to go to federally-qualified health centers instead of the mega abortion corporation.”
So far, Missouri students have sent nearly 25 letters in to the Administrative Hearing Commission, opposing the unlicensed Planned Parenthood facility!

Katie Lodjic, the National Field Director for Students for Life Action added, “Students for Life Action wants to close abortion facilities, as they regularly exploit women and fail to adhere to basic safety standards. When an abortion corporation has nearly 80 emergency vehicles called to its facility in just a few years, it’s fair to question why they should be allowed to remain open.”
How to Send a Letter
Our goal is to send letters to Commissioner Sreenivasa Rao Dandamudi to urge him to reject Planned Parenthood’s license. Here are the instructions.
1. We have created a form letter that you can edit however you would like. It is strongly suggested that no matter how you edit it, you leave in something about an objective reason Planned Parenthood is unsafe —such as the 80 ambulances or failed facility inspections.
2. Please make this letter personal! Share stories about how you have seen people harmed by abortion, your own experience in the pro-life movement (counseling women, praying, being an adoptive parent, being post-abortive, running your church’s pro-life group, etc).
3. When you are done writing it, please let Jacinta Florence know, as we’d like to keep track of how many letters are turned in to the judge. If you would like to share the letter with her so Students for Life can quote from it, we’d appreciate it, but it’s not necessary as we want to respect everyone’s privacy.
4. Mail the letter to: Commissioner Sreenivasa Rao Dandamudi, PO BOX 1557, Jefferson City, MO, 65102.
