WASHINGTON D.C. (10-01-19)– Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins called a federal judge’s decision to block a Georgia law restricting abortion after a baby’s heart is beating “an act of judicial bullying.”

Hawkins continued: “Just as we saw in Roe v. Wade, judges are using the courts to impose their views on abortion, overriding the decisions of voters who should have the right to have a voice and a vote on abortion policy. This is an area of bi-partisan agreement. Earlier this year, Students for Life of America found that 65 percent of Millennials wanted to have a say on abortion policy and 7 in 10 supported limits on abortion. Activist judges will not able to control abortion policy forever, as a number of cases headed to the Supreme Court require a review of the abortion extremism.”
