North Dakota State University, which is currently under fire for potentially breaking the law by giving taxpayer money to Planned Parenthood, is hosting Planned Parenthood for an event called “Reproductive Rights in America”, about abortion in a pre-Roe America.
The university paid $165,000 to Planned Parenthood last year to indoctrinate students in how to indoctrinate K-12 students in their sex ed program, according to Campus Reform.
Campus Reform reported, “Since 2017, NDSU has received $250,000 annually as part of a federal program aimed at youth sex education, with a particular aim towards preventing unintended pregnancies and the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases. In 2018, NDSU gave Planned Parenthood $165,629 out of the $250,000 that the school received from its federal grant, Brynn Rawlings, media relations coordinator for NDSU confirmed to Campus Reform. ”
Planned Parenthood’s role in sex ed is controversial because it often teaches pornographic and inappropriate content to students. For example, a former sex ed educator, Monica Cline, for Planned Parenthood said that the organization grooms young girls for sex.
The Daily Caller reports, “Planned Parenthood’s sex education grooms students for promiscuity, Cline believes, and this promiscuity leads them to abortion. ‘The sex education grooms them for promiscuity. Grooms them for STD treatment, and grooms them for abortion,’ she said. She explained that children’s introduction to sex is ‘illicit sex,’ referring to a video children were shown at a Waco, Texas, conference where Cline was present. Cline taught twelve and thirteen-year-old students a module on healthy relationships while her co-worker taught the same students a module on STD training, which included a video depicting a couple who has just had sex.”
Katie Lodjic, National Field Coordinator for Students for Life noted, “Planned Parenthood is a deceptive organization which repeatedly seeks to drive a wedge between parents and students. They should not be involved in the education of children.”
