We set lots of goals each school year, and we aren’t afraid to set big ones. That’s how Students for Life of America (SFLA) got to be the largest pro-life youth organization in the world! But it’s not just our team that helps to accomplish these goals. It’s YOU!
We exist to collaborate with pro-life students across America. You, the Pro-Life Generation, are the reason and driving force behind everything we do, because it’s this generation that is going to change the culture and abolish abortion.
Our next big culture changing project is our TALK Campaign.
Together, we are going to have 250,000 conversations about abortion. That’s about 1,000,000 minutes of pro-life dialogue!
It’s a BIG goal. That’s why we need YOU!
To kick off the Talk Campaign, we are starting a fall race to collect conversations. The first five students to have 200 conversations, and the first group to 1,000, will receive free VIP tickets to the National Pro-Life Summit in January, as well as behind the scenes meetings and events, including an exclusive meeting with former NFL player Matt Birk, and Charlotte Pence, writer and daughter of the VP!!
On top of that, we have individualized and group incentives that you can win throughout the campaign.

Sometimes the most difficult part about having a conversation is starting them. That’s why SFLA will be equipping our students with these pro-life resources, merchandise, and prizes!
How can you participate?
First, let us know how many conversations you think you’ll have this school year. When you pledge, we will keep in touch about how you can have the most effective conversations. We will also inform you of live training opportunities you can participate in online, like YouTube Lives and Equal Rights Institute webinars.
Here are some places you can go to learn all things pro-life for your conversations:
- www.StudentsforLifeHQ.com can help you learn how to have an effective pro-life group.
- Our social media pages, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, are where we post about current events.
- We have a lot of great informative videos on YouTube.
- Kristan Hawkins, president of SFLA, even has her own podcast!
Start having conversations with your peers! If you need a fun way to get these conversations going, reach out to your SFLA Regional Coordinator who can visit your school with a tabletop display. (Contact [email protected] to find out who your Regional Coordinator is.)
Let us know how many conversations you’re having. You can also use this as an opportunity to tell us how it went! We’d love to know what everyone is talking about and how you’re changing minds. If you come across a challenging topic, we’d love to help get answers to you. If anything unexpected arises we want you and everyone else to know what to say!
Why this? Why now?
During outreach with our Regional Coordinators last year, we saw a 50% conversion rate. If the same holds true for the TALK Campaign, we will see 125,000 people become more pro-life. That’s huge, especially at such a critical time. The Pro-Life Generation has never been closer to abolishing abortion, major elections are on the horizon, and Planned Parenthood is in a frenzy, spending millions to target you and your friends. We have to be equipped, working together, and ready to TALK about LIFE!
“This is the type of initiative that sets Students for Life apart. This is activism in its purest form – boots on the ground, going out on campus, and talking face-to-face with other young people about abortion. This is a BIG goal. But I know the Pro-Life Generation is up for the challenge.” Kristan Hawkins, President of Students for Life of America
