*I know the difference between persecuted and prosecuted. Kamala did both to pro-life activists.
Many people may have forgotten about this, or need a refresher, but as Attorney General for California, Kamala Harris used the power of her office to unethically target pro-life whistleblowers David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt.
Now, according to thefederalist.com, her past work as attorney general could be overturned, particularly her work to try to shut up David Daleiden, Sandra Merritt, and the Center for Medical Progress; they caught Planned Parenthood executives laughing and bragging about illegally trafficking fetal body parts.
They write, “David Daleiden of the Center For Medical Progress, who recorded Planned Parenthood executives conspiring to sell the body parts of aborted babies, may have a chance for charges against him to be dismissed after years of court battles in California.
Daleiden’s lawyers filed a motion on Wednesday to “quash and traverse” the search warrant, meaning to challenge the underlying probable cause that the judge relied on in issuing the search warrant used to seize unreleased videos from Daleiden’s home.”
Liberty Counsel, a religious freedom non-profit legal group and the attorneys for Sandra Merritt, wrote this in a recent press release:
“Sandra Merritt is a loving grandmother and pro-life advocate who took action to expose Planned Parenthood’s despicable trafficking in aborted babies’ body parts. In a sickening twist, SANDRA now faces 15 criminal charges from the state of California that carry the very real prospect of a lengthy jail term….Both Senator Kamala Harris, formerly California’s Attorney General, and current Attorney General Xavier Becerra have been recipients of substantial campaign donations from Planned Parenthood’s political arm. Last fall we submitted, on Sandra’s behalf, overwhelming evidence of an extensive scheme of coordination between Planned Parenthood and the two California AGs.”
When the baby body parts videos came out, Students for Life of America, other pro-life groups, and leading political leaders stepped up to make sure this story was not swept under the rug. Students for Life launched #WomenBetrayed rallies across the country to call attention to these travesties.
