Students For Life Action Announces Addition Of Governor Scott Walker To Board
‘Governor Walker’s efforts on behalf of the preborn and in advancing pro-family policies throughout his political career will benefit Students for Life Action as we prepare for a post-Roe America’, noted Students for Life of America president Kristan Hawkins.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA and MILWAUKEE, WI (8-6-19)–
Students for Life Action, the C4 sister organization to Students for Life of America, announced that former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker will be joining the board of Students for Life Action.
Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America said in a statement, “Governor Walker has worked tirelessly on behalf of pro-life and conservative principles, going back to his time in Marquette Students for Life. As the Governor of Wisconsin, he defunded Planned Parenthood, ended state-funded abortion coverage in state employee health insurance programs, and fought to stop the University of Wisconsin-Madison from training abortionists; his leadership and political expertise are greatly appreciated.”
Governor Walker added, “Students for Life Action is the top pro-life student organization in the country, and I’m excited to be able to help them grow as they get involved in advocacy and elections, starting with the Virginia state elections this Fall.”
Recently, Governor Walker and Kristan Hawkins wrote a joint op-ed on how pro-lifers have the right policies to help families succeed. You can read the full op-ed here.
