Planned Parenthood frequently fights common-sense laws that bar abortion based on possible physical or mental disabilities, such as Down syndrome or spina bifida. After all, Planned Parenthood’s goal is to commit as many abortions as possible, on the taxpayer dime.
But in a recent article about a new Missouri pro-life laws, a Planned Parenthood employee admitted that prenatal testing leads to more abortions, for situations such as Down syndrome.
Referring to the unlicensed Planned Parenthood abortion facility, the article notes, “At that Planned Parenthood, physician Carley Zeal estimates that she and her colleagues perform two or three abortions each week as the result of prenatal testing that shows what she called ‘major genetic and anatomic anomalies.’ Most usually aren’t detected until after eight weeks of pregnancy.”
Yes. A Planned Parenthood abortionist admits that they commit abortions every week as a result of testing for possible genetic issues. With most political issues, if someone just brought up casually how they target people based off their disabilities, everyone would rightly call them out for being neo-eugenicists. But with abortion, it’s called “health care.”
Need more proof that the abortion industry and abortion activists targets babies with disabilities?
- Between 90 to 100% of babies diagnosed with Down syndrome are abortion, with the United States abortion rate being closer to 90% and Iceland’s rate infamously being closer to 100%.
- Planned Parenthood and the ACLU regularly team up to challenge any restriction on Down syndrome abortions, including in Ohio, Indiana, and Missouri.
- Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus wrote that she would have aborted her child if it was diagnosed with Down syndrome. I don’t remember Planned Parenthood condemning that op-ed.
Responding to Marcus’ column, and simultaneously destroying the argument for Down syndrome abortions, Kristan Hawkins wrote, “I know what it’s like to have people – even well meaning people – tell me that my pre-born child should die. It’s something I wish would never happen in a civilized society….Our lives do not have value based on someone else’s comfort level. Human life is worthy of protection and valued first and foremost by the one experiencing it, not by a detached observer. Its value is intrinsic, not up for a vote.”
Planned Parenthood’s disgusting support for eugenics is on full display.
