Texas Governor Greg Abbott told the state of New York where they could put its extreme abortion agenda, signing a bill to protect babies from infanticide, which is sadly something we need clarified today. This is happening while Democrats, especially Presidential candidates, are arguing for legalized infanticide, and perhaps adding a Democratic Party platform endorsing legalized infanticide.
Texas House Bill 16, ” requires abortion practitioners to provide basic medical care to infants who survive abortions. It allows third-degree felony charges and a fine of up to $100,000 for violations” according to LifeNews.com.
The legislation follows another pro-life victory, when Governor Abbott signed legislation barring Planned Parenthood from receiving any taxpayer dollars. The ‘No Taxpayer Dollars To Abortion Providers Act” prevents groups like Planned Parenthood from receiving money through programs such as county STD testing or sexual health program. Planned Parenthood could then use that money to subsidize their abortion business.
Governor Greg Abbott has joined other pro-life governors, including Kay Ivey of Alabama, John Bel Edwards of Louisiana, Brian Kemp of Georgia, and Mike Parson of Missouri, in sending a strong message to states like New York, that they reject their pro-infanticide agenda.
Meanwhile, 2020 Presidential candidates will gather in South Carolina this weekend to pay homage to Planned Parenthood and pander for votes, at a Planned Parenthood-sponsored forum.
According to Planned Parenthood Action, “We Decide will give 2020 presidential candidates the chance to speak to PPAF members – a critical group for anyone aiming for the White House – about their plan to protect and expand abortion access and other reproductive health care. The event will be held concurrent with the South Carolina Democratic Convention, in Columbia, SC.”
While Planned Parenthood often pushes the talking point that voters want abortion to be a central part of any campaign, voters actually do not support abortion and Planned Parenthood at the levels they purport.
