North Dakota Judges Forced to Allow Down Syndrome Abortions Even Though They’re “Eugenic”

Something unusual happened recently in a courthouse in Fargo, North Dakota. Two federal appeals judges, Ralph Erickson and Bobby Shepherd, were reviewing an Arkansas bill that would make it illegal to target babies with Down Syndrome for abortion. They wanted the bill to be allowed. But a 1992 judicial precedent forced them to deem it unconstitutional. So what did Judge Erickson do? He asked the Supreme Court to overturn the previous bad decision and give states the authority to ban abortions. The dissent written by Erickson delved deeply into his concerns that this type of license to kill based

Activist Missouri Judge Allows Planned Parenthood To Stay Open, Adhere To Its Own Set Of Laws

Dangerous Abortion Vendor Remains Open, allowed to harm more women thanks to a Missouri Judge

“The farce of ‘Safe, Legal, and Rare’ continues in Missouri as a single judge allowed Planned Parenthood to ignore the law and continue to operate its dangerous enterprise,” said Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins.

ST. LOUIS, MO. – WASHINGTON D.C. (06-10-19)- Following news that a Missouri judge allowed Planned Parenthood to stay open despite the fact that the abortion vendor had not fully complied with the state’s request to address health and safety concerns in the infamous, St. Louis abortion vendor location, Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins made the following statement: “Planned Parenthood caused this artificial crisis when they ignored the law and refused to comply with the state of Missouri’s very reasonable requests. This will not end well, as already we’ve seen 80 emergency vehicles called to this location, though the 7 abortion doctors have yet to tell us what went wrong.

“But today we’ve been reminded again that one thing wrong with how the abortion issue is handled in the U.S. is the intrusion of activist judges who consistently favor the abortion industry. Earlier this year, Students for Life found that 65 percent of Millennials support the right to vote on abortion-related policy and want a voice on abortion policy. The events in Missouri today will rally the Pro-Life Generation who are tired of the kind of judicial activism we saw today. “

Hawkins received nationwide attention over the last few weeks for spearheading a letter to the RNC calling for protections for those whose conception stories have led to extreme prejudice against them and their right to live. Learn more here.
