Yesterday, Charlie Kirk tweeted a picture of a supposed academic presentation at the University of California San Diego that likened gestating humans to cancer.
Please let this be bogus. Tell me there’s not someone masquerading as a college professor who teaches students blatantly wrong facts about science, using all lowercase and unprofessional diction. Maybe it’s an April Fool’s prank, a Planned Parenthood training, or a Eugenicists Anonymous meeting. Please.
It’s a student presentation by a nutty pro-abortion Gender Studies major who has bought into the lies the abortion industry sells about human development. That would explain the improper English and complete intellectual falsehoods proclaimed here. The reality of abortion is way too ugly to be intellectually honest about fetuses… and how they are in no way cancerous.
So, class, are fetuses akin to cancer? Let’s dissect this feat of academic progeny:
Fetuses are Parasites
Interestingly, this has nothing to do with cancer. The intellectual who put this research together seems to have gotten caught up in the moment of degrading small humans and thought that would be a fun tidbit to include.
The definition of a parasite, according to the Oxford Dictionary:
Living creatures have multiple stages of life. The stages of life of a human can roughly be outlined as blastocyst, zygote, embryo, fetus, infant, toddler, adolescent, adult, and elderly. The early stages of our life are oddly necessary for us to reach the later stages of our life. Indeed, this is how life works.
A parasite, as noted in the definition above, is an unnatural intruder of a different species that hurts the host. Seeing as human fetuses are natural, of the same species, and work in collaboration with the mother’s body that is designed to gestate it, the parasite conjecture doesn’t hold up.
Both Fetuses and Cancers Rapidly Grow
So anything that rapidly grows is akin to cancer. Toddlers rapidly grow. Plants rapidly grow. Investments rapidly grow. Everything is cancer.
Fetuses and Cancers Invade
Perhaps someone has yet to have “the talk” with the creator of the slide. It’s as if people who demonize fetuses have convinced themselves that the fetus just shows up there. Uninvited. Like it wasn’t created by two people who probably understand that making human beings is what sex does.
Hate to “crash the party,” but sex is where babies come from. Fetuses don’t invade – you put them there. Cancer is a disease caused by an uncontrolled division of abnormal cells in a part of the body. See the bolded words? None of these apply to in-utero people. They’re not a disease, the growth process is controlled and natural, as are the cells involved. And does it not go without saying that cancer kills the body? There are just a few people who have harbored fetuses and lived to tell the tale.
Fetuses and Cancer Manipulate Immunity
During pregnancy, the mother’s immune system is slightly lowered to keep from identifying the baby as something to attack. The female body is wired to do this, naturally. The body changes in a lot of ways to do the superpower thing that is gestating a human. After birth, immunity returns to normal, on its own. The female body is designed to do this; it is not designed to have cancer.
Because again, cancer is abnormal. There are many different types of the disease called cancer (though, oddly, not many different types of fetuses). So its effect on the immune system varies depending on the type of cancer it is. Cancer can unnaturally weaken the immune system by spreading into bone marrow, which creates the blood cells that fight off unwelcome entities. The body is not ordering an attack on its bone marrow as part of a natural process.
Reshaping Blood Vessels
Now they’re just reaching, trying to fill a bit of empty space on the slide. A million different conditions can influence blood vessels. Hypertension, vasculitis, rhinophyma, a host of blood vessel diseases. This is like saying there’s a parallel between a moving car and a bird because our eyes move to look at it.
Have we completely thrown science out the window? What is it about the last decade that has killed science and the meanings of words? Just because we say the words, “Well, that’s your science” doesn’t mean that suddenly everybody’s got their own “version” of science that reflects the real world.
Nonsense facts like these are pretty reflective of how pro-abortion people know there’s something wrong with abortion. If they can just redefine gestating humans to resemble something bad, then it feels more okay to kill them. Fetuses are like cancer? Cool, abortion just became as helpful as chemo. Stay educated, friends.
