The SFLA Spring Tour, “Planned Parenthood Truth,” is fully underway, already having visited dozens of college campuses nationwide. The display consists of six banners citing research and inspection reports of dangerous Planned Parenthood facilities, calling for common sense inspections and asking students and passersby: Do you trust Planned Parenthood?
The results so far have been positive. A lot of productive conversations have been had and hearts and minds have been changed.
Exposing Planned Parenthood at an HBCU
The tour display made its first ever visit to an HBCU campus. The Students for Life at Mississippi Valley State hosted and inspired fellow students to think about Planned Parenthood in a new way.
Touring the Bluegrass
“Planned Parenthood Truth” also visited the University of Kentucky, just a few days after the pro-life group faced vandals destroying their group chalking. We can’t really think of a better way to demonstrate to the vandals that their attempts to silence us are futile!
Georgia PP Supporter Has Second Thoughts
SFLA Southeast Regional Coordinator Ryan Eyrich has taken the display all up and down the southeast coast. One stop took him to the University of Georgia where he had this encounter with a Planned Parenthood supporter:
We had some really great conversations at UGA today! I talked to one student who, right off the bat, told me she trusted Planned Parenthood because they offer lifesaving, non-abortive services. She asked me for my thoughts. I explained how Planned Parenthood is doing less and less non-abortive services, how they are known to fail health inspections, and how we have a wonderful network of Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers. When we ended our conversation, she told me that I was the first person to express concerns about Planned Parenthood that weren’t centered around abortion and that she really appreciated hearing what I had to say!
Planned Parenthood, watch out. This generation is coming for you!
Bringing Pro-Life Truth to California
Way over on the West Coast, Pacific SW Regional Coordinator Camille Cisneros has her work cut out for her in one of the most abortion-crazy states in the union. After her stop at UC San Diego, she shared this:
And these are just a few of the encounters our Regional Coordinators have on campuses every day! Planned Parenthood can’t hide their dirty secrets forever (though they will certainly try). It’s up to us to expose the danger they pose to women, inspect their facilities, and defund them of their taxpayer money. Let’s do it!
