71 ambulances have been called to the St. Louis Planned Parenthood on Forest Park Parkway since 2009. One would think that may raise an eyebrow or two around St. Louis. After all, abortion is supposed to be “one of the safest procedures” right?
So now it’s ten years and seventy-one 911 calls later and there still hasn’t been an investigation into these medical emergencies. What happened to these women? Who is the cause of all these emergencies? Is it one doctor who is still at large, committing abortions (and harming women) at the facility?
Thanks to Missouri’s SB5 that passed in 2017, ambulances are now required to have their sirens and lights on when arriving to the facility. Prior to that, Planned Parenthood could request the sirens to be off. Let’s say that a little louder for those in the back:
Planned Parenthood in St. Louis used to insist that ambulances sneak up to their facility.
Sirens and lights off.
Following basic traffic rules.
Stopping at stoplights.
Going the speed limit.
While their patient was actively in danger and in need of a real doctor.
These were medical emergencies, and yet Planned Parenthood has proven that the safety of their patients comes second to their reputation. 40% of the ambulances between 2009-2016 were called because of hemorrhaging, which is life-threatening.
If these emergencies happened habitually like this at any other surgical center, there would be a public outcry and an immediate investigation. But since it’s abortion, Planned Parenthood and the ACLU’s aggression (and gigantic pocketbook) keeps the authorities looking the other way.
The St. Louis Planned Parenthood has been labeled the most dangerous abortion facility in the country. That’s not a title you want to make a plaque for.
It is time for an investigation into St. Louis Planned Parenthood’s 71 ambulance calls since 2009.
Tell Missouri’s Attorney General, Eric Schmitt, that women deserve better and an investigation must be done to prevent any more women leaving Planned Parenthood’s doors on a stretcher.
