With leaders in New York and Virginia pushing America’s abortion extremism to infanticide, the need to defend women and preborn infants from these inhumane practices is energizing voters nationwide,” said SFLA’s Kristan Hawkins. “To get ready for the day after Roe, SFLA is launching a new c4 organization, Students for Life Action, getting this Pro-Life Generation activated for the ground game of defending life.”
SFL ACTION to participate in a series of Rallies to #ResistInfanticide, organizing against Governor Northam and Delegate Tran’s Extreme Agenda
RICHMOND, VA (2-1-19) —Students for Life of America announced the launch of a new c4 organization, Students for Life Action, in advance of a series of rallies opposing Virginia Governor Northam’s and Delegate Tran’s support for legalized infanticide, as detailed in legislation both defended. Students for Life Action is calling on Governor Northam to make a pledge to veto any legislation that rolls back protections for the preborn and notes that as legislators advance radical bills like the VA measure supporting late-term abortion, SFL Action will get to work in opposition starting today.
Though the c4 has been in development for several months, SFLA President Kristan Hawkins said the timing of the announcement was advanced as legislators embracing radical abortion policies in New York and Virginia have shown the true nature of abortion extremism in the U.S. Hawkins noted, “In our recent poll of Millennials, Students for Life of America showed that only 7% of Millennials agreed with the Democratic Party Platform on abortion which supports the horrifying procedure through all 9 months of pregnancy even up to the moments before birth, for any reason whatsoever and sometimes with taxpayer funds. Abortion moments before birth, virtual infanticide, is not only inhumane, it is rejected by the vast majority of Americans.”
Tina Whittington, executive vice-president of Students for Life of America, and a Virginia resident, will be representing SFL Action at this week’s events and added: “Millennials understand the violent reality of abortion and see past the attempt by pro-choice groups to disguise legalized infanticide as ‘choice.’ We will continue to speak out against this great injustice.”
Saturday, February 2nd, at noon eastern: SFLA executive VP Tina Whittington will be speaking at a press conference
and rally outside of Delegate Tran’s town hall. Whittington is available for comment and analysis before and after the press conference at the main entrance of South County High School, 8501
Silverbrook Rd, Lorton, VA 22079
Thursday, February 7th, at 11 a.m. eastern: Pro-life leaders will join together in a #ResistInfanticide Rally, which will be at the state capitol in Richmond.
Students for Life of America is the nation’s largest pro-life student organization with over 1,220 groups on high school and college campuses across the country on all 50 states.
