Pro-Abortion Vandals Attack Pro-Life Display, Says Babies Are A Drain On The Environment
Lynden Human Life is a pro-life organization in the state of Washington. It gives out scholarships to pro-life students, operates a maternity home for pregnant and parenting women, and does educational outreach on the issue of abortion and how to support families in need. According to the group, “Our main purpose is to inform and educate the public of the great need to protect the unborn, along with the elderly. It is our desire to change the hearts of people, one by one, with the truth that all human life is “sacred” and deserves protection under the law.”
So, you can see why pro-abortion agitators would want to attack the group and what it stands for. See, when people start respecting human life and understanding what happens during a pregnancy, people will become more pro-life and oppose abortion. This poses a huge challenge to the profitable abortion industry, including major players like Planned Parenthood.
That must be why vandals spray painted two of the group’s billboards. Neither billboard had a particularly controversial message, not that that would justify destroying it anyways. One vandalized billboard read, “Take my hand, not my life” and pro-abortion agitators spray painted, “Your life drains earth”, a reference to the unholy alliance between radical environmentalists, who want to severely reduce the human population, and the abortion lobby, who wants to severely, if not eliminated, the human population (except of course themselves. It’s always other people that murderous malcontents want to get rid of).
The second billboard said, “I am an American. 40+ years of denying this self-evident truth is long enough. America, it’s time to protect your children again” with a photo of a baby at twenty-weeks gestation. Well okay, you can see how this offended one particular political ideology—it not only trumpeted the greatest country in the world, but also referenced the Declaration of Independence and used scientific facts. That’s a lot to take in, to be honest and explains why they wrote “Smash patriarchy.”
In response to this temper tantrum, Katie Lodjic, Students for Life’s Regional Coordinator in Washington stated, “Lynden Human Life is a great and effective pro-life group in the state of Washington. For this reason, they clearly pose a challenge to Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry in Washington. I can see why protestors would target them—after all, facts and logic are on our side, not on the side of abortion activists.”
