Students for Life of America continues to fight to defund Planned Parenthood and abolish abortion. Today’s good news comes from Pennsylvania, where Planned Parenthood has had their lease revoked thanks to the great work of groups like Life Dynamics. Planned Parenthood has also told their new landlord they won’t commit abortions at the new location. This is a great victory for Pennsylvania pro-life groups who have fought to abolish abortion. This is one step towards the day all abortion is abolished.
According to the Citizens’ Voice, pro-life groups, led by Life Dynamics, sent letters to realtors, warning them that they should not lease to Planned Parenthood, much like other groups have worked to pressure medical waste vendors to stop them from working with abortion facilities.
Citizens’ Voice noted, “Mark Crutcher, who founded the pro-life organization Life Dynamics Inc., said he mailed the letters after reading the news that the Kirby Health Center board notified Planned Parenthood that its lease would not be renewed at the end of this year at 63 N. Franklin St. in Wilkes-Barre. The family planning agency received this letter after informing the board it was exploring offering abortion services. ‘We want to alert (Realtors) that these people are not always honest with them,” Crutcher said during a telephone interview on Monday. “They may say it’s for a doctor’s office, a medical clinic or a women’s clinic and then they lease it to them to find out it’s an abortion clinic and very often, the land owner is very opposed to abortions. They never wanted their facility to be used for that purpose but they signed the lease and it’s too late.'”

The American people deserve better than Planned Parenthood. The American people shouldn’t be forced to give hundreds of millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood, which was caught trafficking aborted babies’ hearts, lungs, livers and brains. That tax money should be redirected to trusted health providers, not given to the abortion industry. Taxpayer money should go to fund local community health centers, not to subsidize a scandal-ridden, billion-dollar abortion business. There are thousands of low-cost health providers – offering a wide range of women’s services like breast cancer screenings and preventative care – can be trusted with our hard-earned money. Planned Parenthood is under criminal investigation and cannot be trusted. You can learn more at wedontneedpp.com.
