FREDERICKSBURG, VA (10-10-18)–
Responding to a series of vandalisms against Students for Life of America groups, Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America said, “Pro-choice students are reflecting the mob mentality and indecency they see on social media and on TV as they attack those who do not champion abortion. It’s not surprising that we are seeing this kind of undemocratic behavior as pro-choice Senators launch unsubstantiated character attacks against judicial nominees because of perceptions that someone is pro-life. They are even encouraging people to attack conservative politicians and appointees, stalking them at their homes, violating their privacy by doxxing, or even attacking them in their private lives. As students see people like Cory Booker, Dick Durbin, and Maxine Waters advocate for incivility, it’s not surprising that they choose physical intimidation against people with whom they disagree. It’s interesting that those who believe that life in the womb has no meaning also seem to believe that the lives of those they disagree with also deserve no respect. And yet faced with opposition, our Students for Life leaders stand bravely for the most vulnerable every day. We will not stop fighting for mothers and their preborn children.”
Vandalism includes: pro-life posters being torn down at Woodson High School in Virginia, signs and flags being stolen at University of Nebraska-Omaha, and pro-life posters being torn down at Robert Morris University and Kutztown University.
