The State of Illinois is going broke, and the Republican governor has signed legislation giving away millions of dollars in taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood and other abortion mills so they can continue to target minorities for abortion–but it gets worse.
Recently, Students for Life at College of Lake County, a community college in Illinois, hosted the They Feel Pain Tour to talk to students about why we should support limitations on painful, late-term abortions. Suddenly, a professor at the school, along with a handful of students, were at their display looking to talk about abortion. No problem there–Students for Life regional coordinator David Cordaro and SFL at College of Lake County president Rachel Schultz know how to respectfully and effectively talk about abortion, and we’re always up for a good debate!
These weren’t just a group of pro-choice students that randomly were walking by though–their professor interrupted their class just to come and argue with us. At the end of the discussion, she notes, “I have to teach”. Well good, she finally gets it–her job is to teach, not use taxpayer resources to interrupt a class to come and talk with pro-lifers–something that can probably be done in their own time.
You can watch the video below, where the professor says she brought her stage management class because they heard pro-lifers were on campus talking about abortion. And if you’re a taxpayer in Illinois, just remember this is what your hard-earned dollars go to.
