We’re Hiring! HR Coordinator
Students for Life of America is now hiring for the Human Resources Coordinator position.
The SFLA Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating Students for Life of America’s financial planning, budget management, and reporting. The Coordinator will also manage and grow SFLA’s human resource program and human systems. The individual will be responsible for a variety of HR and compliance tasks.
The ideal applicant will be able to assist Directors in implementing processes for the hiring, onboarding, disciplining, and termination of team members. He or she should also be able to manage and inform team members on employee benefits, update trainings, and ensure Students for Life complies with all state and federal laws. We use Paychex, so the ideal applicant will have knowledge of Paychex or a similar payroll system.
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for managing SFLA’s insurance coverage and risk management. Applicants should be able to work with SFLA’s accountant to reconcile vendor reports and complete our annual audit. As a result, experience with financial budgeting is very important for this position.
SFLA is a fast-moving organization with a clear goal about which all employees are passionate, therefore, the ideal applicant must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to manage multiple projects at a time. Many of the job responsibilities require knowledge of different technology platforms, including Paychex Online and the Microsoft Office Suite. Due to the sensitive nature of many HR tasks, the Coordinator must be able to handle confidential employee information appropriately. We are looking for candidates with an Associates of Arts Degree (or better) and experience in the pro-life movement.
The Students for Life of America HR Coordinator will work directly with the Executive Vice President and will work out of the Students for Life of America headquarters in Fredericksburg, VA. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a willingness to learn and solve problems. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.
