U.C. Berkeley first, University of Nevada-Reno next, who will be LAST?
Students for Life of America would like to remind our members about a FREE program that equips pro-life college leaders with the tools they need to make a compelling case for life. Healing the Culture, a nonprofit organization that develops pro-life educational resources and programs, presented the first Life Advocacy Student Training (LAST) at University of California – Berkeley last weekend, and we encourage all of our campus groups to sign up soon.
If you’ve ever struggled to articulate a strong and convincing defense of pro-life ethics when confronted by emotional or popular arguments, you should check out this FREE training. Healing the Culture’s entire approach is based on ten commonsense and universal principles that diffuse emotions and open the door to real dialogue and conversions. They boast an 80% shift from pro-choice to pro-life attitudes using principles which are easy to master and simple to teach.
Healing the Culture has received funding to provide Life Advocacy Student Training free of charge to pro-life student groups on college campus throughout the country. To qualify, all you have to do is:
- Register 10 or more pro-life students
- Secure a suitable location (a meeting room, classroom, or other venue)
- Reserve four hours on a Saturday (9-1, 10-2, or 1-5, your choice)
Each student who completes a LAST session receives a free set of Life in a Flash flip card and each hosting group gets a free Pro-Life Advocacy Kit containing important print, audio, and video resources valued at $270. More importantly, LAST graduates acquire a confidence and command of the issues at stake that is both life-changing and life-saving.
The next LAST is sponsored by Nevada Students for Life at the University of Nevada-Reno on April 2. For more information, contact Healing the Culture at [email protected] or 360-243-3811.
