Dr. Rob Chasuk, Associate Director, Family Medicine Residency Program and Chief, Family Medicine Division at Baton Rouge General Medical Center spoke at Nova Southeastern U-Com (Davie, FL) on April 29 on The Power of a Woman’s Cycle: Using Fertility Awareness in Treating Women’s Health Problems including the medical NaProTechnology (a new women’s health science – see below for a brief overview on the subject). Many of the students had not heard this important information before. NSU Students for Life president Jason Faucheux, class of 2017, and his team put on a great inter-professional event with about 68 students and community leaders attending, including local and state PRC directors. Students for Life partnered with the Student Government Association (SGA), the ACOFP (Family Medicine Club), SAOG (OB/GYN Club), as well as several other Nova student organizations. The event was live streamed on-line. For more info, see NaProTechnology.com, FactsAboutFertility.org
