Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity is just around the corner, Tuesday October 21, 2014. On Silent Day people all across the nation will give up their own voice for the 3,300 children who have lost theirs due to “choice” that same day. We at Students for Life of America want you to know that you, as a student, have a legal right to participate in this event on campus. Please know that if you or anyone in your group experiences some kind of resistance from peers or administration to alert Students for Life of America right away by calling us at (571) 379-726.
If you plan on participating in this nation wide event please note the statement that Alliance Defending Freedom sent out last year, and be aware of your rights on campus.
You DO have the right to remain silent as long as it does not disrupt your class. You should have a discussion with your teachers beforehand to let them know you will be participating in such day. You DO have the right to pass out pro-life flyers and information. The school may not impose a ban on the distribution on pro-life materials. Students for Life of America is here to help and defend you, so you can be a part of the silence with confidence next Tuesday, October 21!
We are looking forward to hearing the amazing stories of the hearts and minds that were touched by your silent protest. Be sure to use the hashtag #silentday, so we can see how you and your group participated.
