This summer, pro-life teens put down the beach bags and picked up pro-life literature to hit the streets with the message of Life!
A newly formed pro-life group at St. John Vianney Parish in Fishers, IN, saw a great opportunity to impact their community when a local summer festival came to town. President, Megan S., quickly booked a table at the festival and reached out to Students for Life of America for free resources to use at their table.
After receiving ample resources, St. John Vianney Teens for Life not only hosted the booth, but sent out members to distribute the information throughout the festival. As a result, this group of courageous teens distributed over 600 pieces of pro-life literature!
The group used the literature to begin conversations with people at the festival and challenged individual’s beliefs on abortion.
Not only did this club have a successful tabling event, they also held a baby shower, wrote pro-life messages on a highly frequented sidewalk, attended an apologetics training and a local Right to Life’s pro-life “Book Camp,” met as a club to plan their next year, and started recruiting new members!
Way to go St. John Vianney Teens for Life! They have been awarded SFLA’s August Group of the Month for their enthusiasm and great work sharing the pro-life message in their community!
