We are thrilled to announce, along with Feminists for Life of America (FFL), the launch of a new and unique website to help college students find pregnancy and parenting resources on campus. This website also utilizes crowdsourcing and surveying of students and administrators to help post pregnancy resources on the site.
The new website is www.ResourcesOnCampus.com. Spread the word!
So many of our students know that getting unexpectedly pregnant while in college can be a scary situation for many women and their partners. Many of these students have no idea about the resources available to them on their college campuses and in their community to help them stay in school and parent their children, which is why this website is so unique and needed.
Already our Pregnant on Campus Initiative partners more than 100 Students for Life groups with Students for Life, Feminists for Life, and local pregnancy help centers helping to identify and facilitate tangible services for women and men facing unplanned pregnancies on college campuses.
This website will augment what the Pregnant on Campus program is doing and help pregnant students to find the help they need right away. There is no other website which exists that has all this information on one central location which makes it so unique!
Please help us spread the word so we can get this to as many students as possible by posting the site on social media, telling students about it when tabling or chalking, sending the information to your student newspaper and using it on flyers. We can truly meet the needs of pregnant women quickly and effectively with the help of this site!
