This year’s conference theme is Be the Revolution! As we enter into the 41st year of legal abortion we know that now more than ever we need to see a revolution take place in our nation.
Social movements like the anti-slavery and civil rights movements depended on young people to take a stand, organize, engage and energize those around them for success. The pro-life movement is no different – it is going to take YOU and all your friends to come together and Be the Revolution.
This past year we came together to learn how to both live and love courageously. To be bold in how we live – unafraid to share the truth about the horrors of abortion. And to truly love those facing a crisis pregnancy, the mothers and fathers who are wounded from their abortion, and even those working in the abortion industry right now.
2014 will mark the beginning of the 5th decade that the horror and injustice of abortion has plagued our nation, and over 54 million lives have been lost to the worst genocide the world has ever seen.
Enough is enough. Now is the time to Be the Revolution, gather our courage, and take a stand in our schools, in our churches, and in our communities. To come together, to organize, to engage, and see a revolution for LIFE sweep our nation.
For those of you who have never come, the SFLA National Conference is a day full of education, training, and networking with fellow students and national pro-life leaders who know that campuses are where the pro-life movement must be. Past students have had invaluable experiences and training by attending, including one former leader of UNC – Chapel Hill Students for Life who said,
“The SFLA conference is your one chance per year to meet hundreds of other pro-life student activists from all over the country, hear the latest success stories, and learn new strategies for defending life on your campus. It has inspired me to become much more active in the pro-life movement, and I am excited to see the same thing happening for so many other students. Please don’t miss it!”
The 2014 Students for Life National Conference will kick off at 9:30am on Tuesday, January 21st, and will feature morning, afternoon and evening sessions with speakers covering topics ranging from pro-life apologetics, how to start and lead a pro-life outreach, your rights on campus, dispelling the top 5 myths about abortion, and how to transform your campus and community through revolutionary strategies.
The 2014 Students for Life of America National Conference will both inspire and equip you to Be the Revolution that is needed to prepare for that day when Roe and Doe are overturned, and we will need to be ready to rise up, like never before, to help those in crisis.
