During the 2012 Election, those in favor of abortion often referred to rape as a reason why abortion should remain legal in all 9 months of pregnancy, for whatever reason. Most people, including many pro-life individuals, avoid the question of whether abortion is “ok” in the cases of rape. At SFLA we felt that it was time for the pro-life movement to have an open, honest discussion about the tragedy of rape and abortion.
Last month, SFLA co-hosted a panel discussion about rape and abortion with the University of St. Thomas Celts for Life pro-life group. Featuring Ryan Bomberger of TooManyAborted.com; Dr. Donna Harrison of American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, aaplog.com; and Rebekah Berg, a rape survivor and mother of three this issue was talked about in a way most people have never heard before.
If you missed the livestream of this event, you can now watch the recording here. This is a great training for your next group meeting and would be a good discussion to bring to your campus.
