|SFLA is pleased to announce the addition of three Regional Coordinators to the SFLA staff. Sarah Maher will be the Capitol Area Regional Coordinator for DC, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and West Virginia; Casey Vroman will be the new West Coast Regional Coordinator for California, Arizona and Nevada; and Rebekah Barnes will be working as the new Northwest Regional Coordinator for Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, and Montana.Sarah Maher graduated from Liberty University in 2011, with a degree in Religion Studies. She served as the President of a pro-life group there for over a year. She first became seriously involved in the pro-life movement after going to a sidewalk counseling session where she was challenged by fellow students and a professor. Since graduating, she has traveled with different pro-life organizations across the country spreading the message on what abortion really is and how people from every walk of life can turn the tide in this next election. If you are in the Capital Area (DC, VA, MD, DE, WV) and need help with starting or training a pro-life group Sarah can be contacted at: [email protected]
Casey Vroman hails from Redding, California and graduated with her Bachelors in Family and Child Psychology in May of 2010 from Azusa Pacific University. Most recently she has been working at Carenet Pregnancy Center as Director of Client Services. Casey is excited to be able to share the expertise and leadership skills she has cultivated as she begins the task of establishing new Students for Life groups on campuses as well as growing the ones already in existence.
If you are on the West Coast (CA, AZ, or NV) and need help with starting or training a pro-life group Casey can be contacted at: [email protected]
Rebekah Barnes holds a B.A. in English from the University of Oregon. She was privileged to be able to help start pro-life student groups at both the University of Oregon and Southwestern Oregon Community College, where she served as Treasurer and President. As an active group member, Rebekah experienced the challenges associated with growing a pro-life group and also dealt with opposition from her student government. She strongly believes in the mission of SFLA and is excited to help students create a strong voice for life on their campuses.
