Statement On Targeting of Bulldogs for Life: Abortion supporters target pro-lifers after successful pro-life event at University of Minnesota-Duluth
DULUTH, MN and FREDERICKSBURG, VA(3-19-18)--
On March 15, posters critical of Bulldogs for Life (University of Minnesota-Duluth) were put up around campus. While we have no issue with being criticized, we do take issue with people impersonating Bulldogs for Life and claiming that we are putting our posters that are in fact the work of pro-abortion students.
In response, Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America stated, "Coming off a successful event on Tuesday night at UMD, I would imagine the pro-aborts are worried about the growing influence of not only Bulldogs for Life, but the broader pro-life movement. With their leader, Cecile Richards, leaving Planned Parenthood during a number of scandals, including state and federal investigations into its practices, and their vaunted candidate, Hillary Clinton not quite able, a year and a half later, to accept that she lost the presidency, they must be grasping for anything to give them a sense of satisfaction and of victory. Instead of targeting our students, perhaps the pro-aborts could examine why so many young people are turning against them and the gruesome, barbaric practice of abortion."
Kristan recently spoke at a successful "Stump the Pro-Lifer" event on Tuesday, March 13. You can watch the Q and A section of the event below:
