It’s A Wrap: 2016-2017 School Year Numbers Are Awesome

Students for Life of America has continued to grow over the past year, adding more talented individuals and passionate pro-lifers to our team – which equals more things we can do to end abortion.

This school year was no different from past years, in that we continued to break records in our work. Going into our 11th year as a national organization, we have made it our mission to create a culture of life and help women facing unintended pregnancies. With a growing team, we have had the capability to serve more students, train them in pro-life work and apologetics, create lasting relationships, and ultimately get closer to our goal of making abortion unthinkable.

In addition to training over 11,100 students, we started 146 new groups, which makes our total groups 1,150. Over the past ten years, we’ve trained an astounding 57,214 students – these are our present and future leaders!

We also took five different pro-life displays to 271 campuses, which is a substantial amount of work for Students for Life groups on campuses – yet, they did it because they believe that using the right messages and the most effective tactics to reach their peers will turn more people away from abortion and towards the pro-life generation.

We are in the business of changing hearts and minds at Students for Life of America because that’s how you change the culture. We are so proud of all of our students and staff who work every day to get that much closer to abolishing abortion in our lifetime!

Stand Up

Over the past few months, many of you have been challenged to overcome controversy and persevere through discrimination. You have been asked to engage and participate while also working hard as a student. While there are many times when we are pressured to give up, our determination to abolish abortion remains strong.

Being an abortion abolitionist is no easy task. You are asked to sacrifice time, energy, and even relationships. You are placed in uncomfortable situations. Your pro-life message is questioned and criticized, and at times, your resolve is tested. But, here’s the good news– we are winning!

Thanks to your courageous efforts, we have witnessed many amazing victories this year. Here are some of the highlights:

As we come to the end of our school year, we ask that you end your year with at least 1 more victory! Request this month’s Event-in-a-Box, and join us in celebrating the achievements of the pro-life movement as we continue to move forward in changing culture.
