Systems Administrator / Technical Support Analyst
Job Description
- Administration and technical support for all aspects of technology, including mobile devices, computers, servers and networks for 5 locations in the tri-state area
- Provide technical support and training for onsite and remote users
- Manage backups, disk space maintenance, hardware and software upgrades, security, and anti-virus solutions on workstations and servers
- Mange Avaya and mobile phone systems
- Responsible for technology purchases, cost cutting and low total cost of ownership, including tremendous software savings through non profit venues. Management of all software and hardware inventory, licensing and purchasing
- Perform all hardware and software updates as required
Requirements
4+ years of system administration in:
- Windows 2008 small business edition
- Videoconferencing experience (Skype, Oovoo)
- Smartphone setup and support (Android, iPhone)
- Windows XP and Windows 7
- Active Directory
- Server management
- Workstation management
- Helpdesk
- Networks (physical and logical)
- Spam management
- Microsoft Office 2003 & 2007
- FTP
- Web Servers
- Wireless LAN
- Firewalls

Website, Social Network, and Email Content Manager
Job Description
- Manage content and effective placement of online content on website and social media
- Continue development and maintenance of GC web-site. Improve contribution methods. Add “Heifer-like” functions, and improve event registration processes. Support to fund development by creating optimized ads for online advertising or photographic images for events and newsletters.
- Oversee html based email blasts and analyze feedback offering suggestions and advice
- Integrate social networking and online strategy into existing website as directed
- Execute social media campaigns as directed
- Main contact person for outside vendors including WEBSERVES. Ensures security of site and donations in keeping with acceptable professional standards
- Assist staff in the implementation of our various surveys, staff, resident, and donor surveys
Requirements
2+ years of system administration in:
- Content management (Drupal, Joomla, or WordPress)
- HTML – must be able to write html code for web pages and content management.
- SQL/query experience (Donor Perfect preferable)
- E-mail campaign management (bounce management, unsubscribes, spam, etc.)

Care Net is located in Landsdowne Virginia and will support students seeking academic credit for their internship. Students for Life of America’s Missionary for Life Program
This is the most innovative pro-life internship of the summer that will give any pro-life leader the full Washington, D.C. experience! Spend 9 weeks in a rotating internship with Students for Life, another national pro-life organization, and a U.S. Congressman! Susan B. Anthony List
The Susan B. Anthony List is accepting applications for Summer 2012 Internships. Candidates should be self-starters with good communication skills. The ability to balance multiple demands and work with shifting priorities and deadlines is a must. The interns are responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of our organization. Duties will be divided between typical daily administrative support and larger projects such as: fundraising, legislative and political research, and drafting articles for our blog and website. Ideal candidates will have an interest in non-profit advocacy work and pro-life politics. Application deadline is April 1, 2012. The Susan B. Anthony List is also willing to work with students to gain college credit for their internship experience.
