Christen Houck

Christen first came to Students for Life of America as a 2011 Missionary for Life, where she spent her summer immersed in the pro-life movement in and around the metropolitan-D.C. area interning at SFLA headquarters, at another prominent pro-life organization and on Capitol Hill.

Christen has been a prominent pro-life leader in the mid-west, where she is entering her Junior year at University of Michigan as a Political Science major. She is the founder and President of Students for Life at Eastern Michigan University and is heavily involved in the group on her campus. She has organized several well-attended pro-life education nights for various Jackson, MI schools as well as having her hand in sidewalk counseling and prayer vigils around her hometown.

Christen attributes her support of the pro-life movement to her strong christian faith, scientific research and her witness to the emotional effects of abortion on women’s lives.
