STAND WITH THE ALABAMA SUPREME COURT

because humans deserve protection from day 1

Victory! The Alabama Supreme Court rules that all
preborn children are legally persons.

96% of biologists agree that human life begins at conception, and on February 16th, Alabama’s Supreme Court took the pro-science approach by recognizing the personhood of children at conception... even when that event takes place in a lab. This is a major win for human rights!

Abortion supporters argue that humans don’t fully earn their God-given rights, including any right to LIFE, until birth. This is legally defined as “personhood,” which has been denied to children who are in the womb... or in an IVF laboratory.

But the Alabama Supreme Court just issued a game-changing decision.

The case: In LePage v. The Center for Reproductive Medicine, parents filed a wrongful death lawsuit against an IVF facility when their preborn children were dropped and destroyed in a lab accident. The Washington Post reported that the court “had long held that ‘unborn children are ‘children’; and that that was also true for frozen embryos, affording the fertilized eggs the same protection as babies under the Wrongful Death of a Minor Act.”

So, a person is a person no matter how small, and even when outside a mother’s womb!

In his concurring opinion, Alabama Chief Justice Tom Parker defended the sanctity of life in the Alabama Constitution, stating: “Even before birth, all human beings bear the image of God, and their lives cannot be destroyed without effacing His glory.”
