We are disappointed that University of Cincinnati has decided to continue with the University of Cincinnati Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Alliance and UC Feminists’ exploitive display Re-envisioning the Female Body (Warning: This page includes a picture of a vulva.) and allow its co-eds to be preyed upon by Planned Parenthood. We have been informed that last night’s Planned Parenthood panel, which was scheduled as the kickoff to the vaginal photo exhibit, was moved off of the UC campus to the Planned Parenthood abortion facility down the street from the university because of snow. The weather turned out to work quite nicely for PP. What better way for them to lure in young women and men and get them comfortable with going into an abortion facility?
UC Students for Life is doing excellent work on their campus exposing Planned Parenthood’s dirty and corrupt practices and will be passing out educational information, including this flyer (Warning: photos of genital warts), which is a more accurate representation of what Planned Parenthood means for young girls.
It is no wonder Planned Parenthood is involved with this event on UC’s campus. College-aged women are unfortunately Planned Parenthood’s biggest abortion customers representing 46% of all abortions. These kinds of events allow Planned Parenthood access to target customers and market their lies. What these “vagina” displays should really be showing is genital warts or a dead preborn baby being ripped out because for so many young women that is the tragic result of a Planned Parenthood approved lifestyle.
Simply put, Planned Parenthood doesn’t exist to help women, it exists to profit off of them. Here’s how they do it:
1. Provide poor quality, faulty birth control that ensures their profits. Planned Parenthood condoms have the lowest possible ranking by Consumer Reports. Furthermore, contraception does NOT lower abortion or STD rates. According to the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute, 54% of women who have abortions used contraception during the month they became pregnant. STD rates are also skyrocketing, with 1 in 4 college students carrying one and 1 in 2 of sexually active people contracting an STD by age 25. According to Planned Parenthood’s 2011-2012 annual report, 41% of their “services” were dedicated to STD testing and treatment.
2. Distribute abortion-causing chemicals called “morning-after” pills to people of all ages and genders (men can use them to secretly induce abortions) while falsely claiming they do not cause abortions.
3. Mislead women through claims that abortion is a quick, easy solution to unexpected pregnancies by withholding pertinent information such as the the mental and physical risks, including the scientifically proven abortion-breast cancer link.
Despite all this, in 2012, Planned Parenthood received a record $542 million of your tax dollars, and performed a record 333,964 abortions. With over a $1.2 billion budget and $300 million in profit, the abortion giant doesn’t need our tax money.
It is disappointing that the University of Cincinnati is allowing Planned Parenthood to continue to target UC students, but this shows we need to keep up the pressure and educate Americans on what Planned Parenthood is really all about.
