Expose Planned Parenthood & Black Genocide
As February swiftly approaches, we recognize the oncoming of “Black History Month,” a time to celebrate the achievements of black Americans of the past and of today. Unfortunately, not many are recognizing a much more dire situation that is occurring in this country. This country’s minority population is being targeted by the abortion industry, and in particular, blacks find themselves under the greatest threat. Abortion is the leading cause of death among black Americans, and it continues to exceed all other causes of death combined. Since Roe v. Wade, an estimated 15 million black babies have been aborted in the United States. Unfortunately, this has caused a decrease in population of about 25% since 1973.
From its very beginning, the abortion industry (and in particular Planned Parenthood) has intentionally targeted its “services” to minority communities. Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger, even went so far as to call the black population and other groups as “…’human weeds,’ ‘reckless breeders,’ ‘spawning… human beings who never should have been born’…” Today, the abortion industry continues to target and disproportionately affect the black population. 79% of Planned Parenthood abortion clinics are located in minority communities. Black women are 3x more likely to get an abortion than a white woman. About 1,000 black children are aborted every day.
This February, SFLA strongly encourages you to expose Planned Parenthood. Expose the racism that is killing this generation– and particularly killing the black population. In this short month, you have plenty of opportunities to share statistics, post flyers, host discussions, show movies, and more! Take some time to check out these resources, and discuss with your group what you will do to EXPOSE Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry’s racist agenda.

Would you like cards, brochures, and/or publications to hand out on campus?? Check out these free resources! You can download them as PDFs, or request a box of materials.
RAISE AWARENESS THROUGH FLYERS & GRAPHICS
SFLA has created graphics for flyers and social media. Use these graphics over the 4 weeks of February as a flyering campaign or to raise awareness through social media.
We have compiled a variety of websites and articles on the topics of “Abortion and the Black Community,” “Planned Parenthood and Racism,” and “The Death of Tonya Reaves.” Check these out if you want to learn more about the facts and history behind these topics!
If you plan on hosting a discussion or movie event on campus, you should also consider bringing in a speaker to help aid in your presentation of the topic. Check out this list of national African American speakers!
