This month, our outstanding group hails from Slippery Rock, PA. Under the leadership of highly motivated leader Josh Weitzel, the recently formed Pro-Life SRU group has started off the year with great enthusiasm and success!
Even though this group is new to Slippery Rock University, Pro-Life SRU is causing quite the stir on their campus! With brand new t-shirts, creative flyers, yard signs, and regular tabling, the group has made themselves a visible presence on campus. On October 16th, they joined in supporting National Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity, and they handed out over 100 “LIFE” stickers.
From November 12th to November 14th, the group will be collecting donations of clothing and diapers outside local grocery stores as a part of their “Tour de Tots.” Furthermore, Pro-Life SRU members have actively supported the Alpha Omega Center (a local pregnancy resource center), and they have plans to bring in a speaker.
Pro-Life SRU proves that even the newest pro-life groups can make a HUGE difference!
