This September’s Group of the Month hails from Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne. Determined to aid women in crisis pregnancies and to protect the lives of the unborn, IPFW Students for Life has stood out as leading examples of spreading the pro-life message on their college campus and in their community. Whether it’s sidewalk chalking on campus or holding a prayerful witness outside an abortion clinic, IPFW Students for Life is prepared and willing to make a stand for Life.
On September 18th, IPFW Students for Life took their pro-life activism to a new level by helping organize and host an I Vote Pro-Life First Campus Tour stop at Purdue University. During the event, we heard from Michelle Landrigan and Alicia Bigelow about the mission and involvement of their group in the pro-life movement. Michelle challenged her peers to ask themselves the questions “What beliefs do you hold dear? What are you willing to fight for? What issues are non-negotiable?”
The I Vote Pro-Life First event at IPFW boasted an impressive turnout of students and community members alike. Pro-lifers from around the Fort Wayne area stood in support of pro-life candidates. The event even drew the ire of a few pro-abortion protestors, but the IPFW pro-life students vastly outnumbered them.
