Students for Life of America visited campuses in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania with the I Vote Pro-Life First Campus Tour last week. Pro-life blogger Jill Stanek headlined the tour sharing her testimony of the dangers of electing pro-abortion politicians at any level of government. Crowds of students and community members gathered at every stop to pledge to always vote pro-life first and reach out to their peers to motivate them to do the same.

Students were greeted with a lively scene of music, popcorn and “Vote Pro-Life First” signs as volunteers from campus pro-life groups passed out I Vote Pro-Life First pledge forms and registered voters. Local pro-life leaders joined Students for Life of America at each stop to speak to students about the ever-increasing importance of voting for pro-life candidates.

Young Americans have seen the impact of abortion. One-third of our generation is missing and we have seen the pain and sorrow that abortion causes. We know that for our nation to abolish abortion, we cannot continue to support leaders who endorse the killing of pre-born children. The I Vote Pro-Life First Initiative asks every American, particularly young Americans, to sign the pledge stating that a candidate’s stance on the Life issue will be the most important issue that a person looks at when deciding which candidates to vote for, from local school board to President of the United States.

Every pro-lifer has a duty to do everything that we can to protect the pre-born. Our political leaders and the legislation they enact make a significant difference in saving lives. There is so much that we all can do to help elect pro-life candidates. Sign the “I Vote Pro-Life First pledge. Register to vote. And grab a friend and volunteer in your community to participate in pro-life Get Out The Vote efforts. And above all, don’t forget to vote and vote pro-life first November 6th!
