Introducing Beth & Amanda

Amanda & Beth

This Fall, Students for Life of America is proud to introduce new staff and positions as we continue to expand and to adapt to the needs of our supporters and our organization.

After two years at SFLA, Amanda Lord will transition to the positions of Pregnant on Campus Coordinator and New Media Coordinator.

At 18, Amanda Lord found herself pregnant. With no parenting skills and an abusive fiancé, she moved into a maternity home in Naples, FL. It was in the home that she decided to place her son for adoption. Amidst this challenging time, Amanda accepted Christ, and since then she has dedicated her life to advocating for adoption and helping women facing crisis pregnancies.

Amanda has spread the message of life to over 200 high school and college campuses, worked behind the scenes with 3 pro-life organizations. Amanda joined Students for Life of America in September of 2010 and works as the Pregnant On Campus Coordinator and New Media Coordinator. Email Amanda for more information.

Beth O’Malley joins the SFLA team as the National Programs Coordinator and High School Coordinator.

A native of Massachusetts, Beth O’Malley recently graduated from Belmont Abbey College (NC), where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. At Belmont Abbey, Beth was a member of both the Honors Institute and the Hintemeyer Catholic Leadership program. She was active in campus ministry, athletics, peer tutoring, and Greek life. In August 2012, she was blessed with the opportunity to join the SFLA team, and she will now act as the National Programs and High School Coordinator. Beth looks forward to overseeing various programs within the SFLA Field Department as well as spearheading the new High School programs.
