Students Bravely Stand in Silent Solidarity, 9+ Lives Saved

Date Posted October 20, 2010

Students from across the world stood in silent solidarity yesterday with over 50 million lives whose voice has been silenced by abortion. Students were encouraged to wear red duct tape over their mouths and red armbands to witness to the violence of abortion. This year, over 2,500 schools participated.

Many students endured harsh comments and criticism while others found support from people they least expected. School Administrations were taken off guard and a school in Bedford, VA forced students to take the red tape off their mouths before they could attend school.

So far 9 babies have been saved.

“The stories that we are hearing from students who participated in pro-life day, are stories that we hear everyday from pro-life students across the country,” said Kristan Hawkins, Executive Director of Students for Life and co-sponsor for the event. “This is the pro-life generation, and they are making a difference on their campuses everyday.”
