Birth Mom to Speak at SFLA Conference This Saturday

Date Posted September 8, 2010

Our Conference is a day and half away and Students for Life would like to introduce another one of our amazing speakers for the conference, Amanda Lord.

At 18, Amanda found herself pregnant. With no parenting skills and an abusive fiancé, she moved into a maternity home in Naples, FL. It was in the home that she decided to place her son for adoption. Amidst this challenging time, Amanda accepted Christ, and since then she has dedicated her life to advocating for adoption and helping women facing crisis pregnancies. Now 25 years old, Amanda has been in the pro-life movement for 4 years. She has spread the message of life to over 200 high school and college campuses, worked behind the scenes with 3 pro-life organizations and is currently interning with a maternity home to learn how to help pregnant women one-on-one.

At our conference on Saturday, Amanda will be breaking the Stereotypes and debunking myths about adoption.
