Shawn Carney

There are only three more days until the Students for Life of America/Center for Bio-Ethical Reform Conference in Knoxville, Tennessee! We have many great speakers lined up and we are working on last minute details.

One of the speakers for this year’s conference is Shawn Carney, Executive Director of Coalition for Life, a pro-life organization consisting of 60 churches and thousands of people. Shawn is also the Board Tresurer for 40 Days for Life, a community based campaign that draws attention to the evil of abortion through prayer and fasting, constant vigil outside of abortion facilities, and community outreach. 40 Days for Life takes a determined, peaceful approach to showing local communities the consequences of abortion in their own neighborhoods, for their own friends and families. It puts into action a desire to cooperate with God in the carrying out of His plan for the end of abortion in America. Shawn’s leadership both in 40 Days for Life and Coalition for Life has contributed to a dramatic drop in abortions, and he is a regular media spokesperson on pro-life issues. He also is executive producer and host of the new EWTN television series, being HUMAN.

Shawn will be at our the Knoxville training conference and will be speaking on overcoming the fear of abortion facility activism and will be taking questions on how to activate students to pray and counsel outside of abortion facilities.
