Is Planned Parenthood really about “choice”? If the grounds for abortion are to give women choices, one would think Planned Parenthood, the largest provider of abortion, would present all choices or at least one alternative other than abortion.
A recent article in the Caleb Report, Life Decisions International’s bimonthly newsletter, outlines the exact numbers of adoptions and abortions Planned Parenthood has advised for women. The article titled Adoption = Terror, shows Planned Parenthood is heavily weighted in the amount of referrals given to pregnant women to have abortions.
And why would Planned Parenthood counsel women to think about adoption as a viable option? Unlike the abortion industry, there is no profit in adoption for Planned Parenthood. These statistics show that for every Planned Parenthood referral for adoption between 2000 and 2007 there have been 104 abortions. This statistic makes it outrageously clear that Planned Parenthood is not about “choice” but about making money off of women in crisis pregnancies as they are the largest provider of abortions in America.
It would be interesting to see the statistics of Pregnancy Resource Centers alongside the Panned Parenthood numbers. The amount of good and genuine work done mostly by volunteers at the pregnancy resource centers is quite amazing.
While supporting women during their pregnancy, these pro-life Pregnancy Resource Centers are also operating completely on the generosity of donors. There is no profit or alternative motive for the pregnancy to offer their service other than helping women.
When SFLA Executive Director, Kristan Hawkins, went in undercover to Planned Parenthoods while pregnant she asked what support Planned Parenthood provides to women in crisis pregnancies. She got the same answer at each one: abortion. No adoption or OB-GYN referral were offered at all!
I can’t help but ask, “Who is really in the business of helping women?”: Planned Parenthood who profits from their abortions, making them the largest provider in America, or pro-life Pregnancy Resource Centers who are non-profit entities which help women throughout their pregnancy and after.
I think the numbers show just what Planned Parenthood is: a baby killing machine.
